This innovative pet flap allows all pets to move freely outside, but only cats with a microchip programmed into the flap can get back inside. The flap can be programmed for up to 32 pets, making it a great solution for multi-pet households.

The translucent flap operates quietly and has an installation depth of 3-60 mm. The overall dimensions of the opening are 21 × 21 cm (cutout size 16.5 × 17.1 cm) and the flap size is 14.2 × 12 cm.

The flap is battery-operated (4 x AA batteries, not included) and has a display that indicates low battery. Made of durable plastic, and the product has a 3-year warranty. This pet flap combines safety, ease of use and flexible programmability.

The cat can enter by sticking its head into the tunnel and opening the flap. The sensor detects the cat and quickly reads its microchip or collar tag, after which the lock opens if necessary. The door will not activate if the cat simply moves in front of it, inside or outside.

The door operates in one direction: all animals can leave the house, but only your own pets can enter. This prevents a situation where a foreign animal that has managed to enter would be trapped in the house. Exit can be restricted if necessary with a separate four-way manual lock.

After opening, the door remains unlocked until the cat has passed through the tunnel. The lock closes after about a second. The lock also opens when the cat leaves, although this is not necessary for operation. In addition, the door has a magnetic latch that keeps the door closed when not in use.
