Sleeping Bag Temperature Recommendations

Trimm sleeping bags come with temperature recommendations in accordance with EN 13527 standards. Please note that these limits are only guidelines.

“Comfort”refers to the temperature at which a less experienced hiker can sleep comfortably through the night.
The “Limit” temperature is the comfort temperature for a more experienced hiker.
“Extreme”indicates the lowest temperature at which the sleeper is still protected from hypothermia for some time.

A sleeping pad is the recommended companion for a sleeping bag. A high-quality sleeping pad effectively insulates against the cold. Under the sleeper, the sleeping bag’s filling compresses, which reduces its insulating effect against the ground.
