This map covers the border area between Sweden, Finland, and Norway around the Three-Country Cairn. The area also contains Sweden's northernmost point.
The other side of the map is a fells map at a scale of 1:50,000. It shows several hiking routes and mountain huts on both the Swedish and Norwegian sides, including between Nordkalottden, Kilpisjärvi, and Dærtahyttan. The other side of the map is at a scale of 1:25,000 and covers the popular Kilpisjärvi and Three-Country Cairn day-trip area, as well as classic peaks such as Saana and Pikku-Malla.
The map is part of Calazo's new fells map series, whose terrain data is based on aerial laser scanning. Thanks to the new 5- and 10-metre contour lines, features such as bodies of water and cliffs stand out much more clearly than before. Trails, mires, buildings, rocky areas, and difficult-to-traverse vegetation are also shown with greater accuracy.
Calazo maps are printed on Tyvek material. Tyvek is a synthetic fibre material that makes the map completely waterproof and highly tear-resistant. A Tyvek map does not tear at the folds, and its print does not wear off with use.
