Heinola AK Ice Auger for Drill - Three Sizes

The efficiency, usability, reliability, and quality of Heinola ice augers are what you’ve come to expect from Heinola—tried and true. It is precisely because of these qualities that many consider Heinola ice augers to be the best in the world!

The ice drill attaches directly to the drill’s chuck (13 mm) using a fixed adapter. The adapter also features a standard hand crank attachment. In addition, a fixed safety disc prevents the ice drill from falling into the hole if it becomes detached from the drill during use. A blade designed for the entire winter that cuts easily through both dry and wet ice.

Shaft:
• Thread-welded along its entire length to the shaft, thread length 600 mm
• Made of 1.5 mm cold-rolled steel
• Extremely strong and durable construction
• The shaft is stove-enameled with epoxy powder paint
• Excellent resistance to impacts
• Integrated adapter for a cordless drill
• A safety disc prevents the ice drill from falling into the hole

Blade:
• (Blue) all-winter blade that works on both dry and wet ice
• Hardenable and formable SSAB Multisteel 355 special steel
• Stainless steel blade with a hardened edge that resists wear and stays sharp for a long time
• Nine different grinding stages ensure an extremely sharp finish
• Sturdy and durable blade attachment
• Easily replaceable blade

Heinola ice augers are manufactured in Finland, and the Association for Finnish Work has granted the right to use the Avainlippu symbol as a mark of Finnish craftsmanship.

Selection Guide:

  • Red Blade - A blade for the entire winter, especially for icy conditions
  • Yellow Blade - Slightly milder than the red blade; suitable for both manual and power tool use.
  • Blue Blade - A mild blade, especially for use with an ice drill and on wet ice
