Easily accessible fell landscapes, tranquil Scots pine mires and lush river valleys reflect the vast wilderness of our country. Several wilderness huts are located along the popular Sevetti-Pulmankijärvi route. An experienced traveler can choose their own route across the open fell ridges. The area is also excellent for off-road cycling, but the routes are unmarked and technically challenging in places. The proximity to the Arctic Ocean makes the weather unpredictable.
