8x25" Aluminum-Frame Snowshoe
The frame of the Finland® series snowshoes is made of 6061-T6 aluminum tubing. The deck is made of HDPE-MAX material, which withstands cold temperatures and heavy use. Thanks to a special treatment applied to the deck, it can withstand temperatures as low as -45°C. The deck is also UV-protected, preventing sunlight from softening it.
The design of the frame takes both comfort and usability into account. The tapered, rounded shape at the rear reduces the dragging and braking effects when walking forward and makes it significantly easier to walk backward. The Finland® series snowshoes feature two quick-release straps with the GEAR RACHET® buckle system. This allows for quick and easy attachment of the snowshoes.
The anti-slip mechanism consists of a large, multi-pronged anti-slip device. The anti-slip device is made of aircraft-grade aluminum. The axle in the snowshoe frame allows the heel to lift off the surface of the snowshoe, making it easier to exert force while walking. Thanks to this axle design, the user can walk long distances in snowshoes regardless of the depth of the snow.
