Green Toilet 100 Easy is suitable for use both in an outhouse and indoors. All waste goes into the same tank, and the proven base structure, characteristic of Green Toilets, separates excess liquid from the compost. This allows for odorlessness and composting during use.

Green Toilet 100 Easy is suitable for seasonal use by 4-5 people, for example, at a summer cottage, and for year-round use by 2-3 people. Like other Green Toilets, a replacement tank is available for the Easy, which allows capacity to be increased as needed and makes maintenance even more effortless.

How to use Green Toilet 100 Easy

Green Toilet 100 Easy is used like any composting toilet: all toilet waste and paper go into one tank, and the internal structure of the toilet automatically handles liquid separation. With the Easy, bulking material is used, either added by users during use or as a separate maintenance operation, a larger amount 1-2 times a week depending on usage.

Excess liquid, called leachate, which does not soak into the compost or evaporate with ventilation, exits through the liquid hose at the back. It can either be collected in a canister or treated with a GeoTrap Outhouse Filter and absorbed into the ground.

If Green Toilet 100 Easy is installed indoors in living spaces, we recommend using an electric duct fan. This ensures odorlessness in all situations.

Maintenance

When the Green Toilet 100 Easy compost tank is full, it's time for maintenance. First, tilt the toilet slightly forward. This allows some of the excess liquid to drain out before disconnecting the liquid hose. The tank is detached from the liquid hose and the ventilation pipe, and the wheel assembly is placed under the tank. After disconnecting the hose, insert the plug that came with the package into the hole. All of this can be done without tools. Then, roll the tank out the door and either transfer the contents to a separate compost pile or place the closed Green Toilet Easy lid from the replacement tank on top of the full tank. It's best to let the compost in the replacement tank compost undisturbed until the next maintenance is due. This is usually enough time for a toilet compost in family use to be safely used in the garden. Before putting the toilet back in place, wash its exterior and thermal seat with water and a mild detergent. After emptying the tank, remember to cover the bottom of the Easy with bulking material again. Connect the ventilation pipe and liquid hose, and use can continue.

Installation of Green Toilet 100 Easy is flexible

The Green Toilet Easy can be installed in any free space on the floor. The ventilation pipe outlet is, in the basic version, from the back right when looking from the front of the unit, and it can be routed directly through the back wall and up from there. Alternatively, the ventilation outlet can be chosen from the top of the unit or from the other side at the back.

The liquid hose is routed out from the bottom rear, either into a canister or a filter. The wheels are attached only for maintenance.
